In 1997, Hajime Okutsu joined Mitsubishi Rayon Co., Ltd. (currently Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation) Engineering Development Center, Central Technology Laboratories. In 2012, he joined Toyohashi Technology Development Group, Production Technology Laboratories, Toyohashi (currently Aichi) Production Center; in 2016, he worked in the Production Technology Section, Acrylic Fiber Production Dept., Otake (currently Hiroshima) Production Center; and in 2021, he joined the DX Promotion Section, Production Technology Dept., Technology Management Div.
