With over 24 years of experience that spans industry, Doug is a seasoned business practitioner and certified security professional who helps companies meet their objectives to better ensure safe, secure, reliable, and profitable operations. His efforts have expanded industrial networking and cybersecurity solutions, helped create industry guidelines and best-practices, and enabled companies to mitigate security risks that arise as information technology and operational technology systems grow in complexity and continue to converge. In his current role, Doug is responsible for business performance, partnering, and successful collaboration with other industry-leading organizations. He helps companies benefit from SANS’ mission to facilitate best-in-class workforce development and training programs that increase the effectiveness of company investments in their people, processes and technologies. Previously, Doug was Vice President, Product Security Strategy for an industrial security software company and also spent over 20 years at Rockwell Automation.
