Dawex, Schneider Electric, Valeo, CEA and Prosyst Join Forces to Create Data4Industry-X, the Trusted Data Exchange Solution for Industry

Data4Industry-X, a partnership between Schneider Electric, Dawex, Valeo, CEA, and Prosys, was announced. Data4Industry-X is a data exchange environment for the Industry sector that is designed to help improve competitiveness and reduce the carbon Data Exchange Solutionfootprint of major global industrial organizations within operations spread across multiple countries. Initially addressing the automotive and power generation industry challenges, Data4Industry will help enable organizations to operate services on distributed data, coming from various factories, organizations, and countries, while keeping control over the data produced both locally and abroad. Supported by the French government's France 2030 initiative and the European program Next Generation, and with the endorsement of AIF (Allience pour I'industrie du futur), the objective of Data4Industry-X is to support the digital transformation of industry and leverage the potential of industrial data.

Contributing to the international Manufacturing-X initiative, Data4Industry-X is a data exchange solution that is implementing the Gaia-X de facto standards and designed in compliance with new European data regulations, such as the DataAct.  Addressing the Industry challenge of data exchange in decentralized manufacturing, Data4Industry-X will help to improve efficiency and productivity and accelerate data-driven innovation. In the context of heavy digital transformation and industrial sovereignty, Data4Industry-X will contribute to help improve Europe’s competitiveness by fostering a more sustainable Industry ecosystem through leveraging the potential of broad cross-border, cross-company, cross-factory industrial data exchanges.
